The trip starts tomorrow, got the bag packed, first night's stay is booked in Verona, from there we shall follow our noses briefly north using the 'lonely planet' planet guide to Italy. We're aiming for Lake Garda and thence the Dolomites. We have to be in Napoli by the 25th/26th to fly back but that's the only plan. If anyone knows how to get to Monte Cassino please let us know...

I'll be taking two books with me for light reading 'The Moral Animal' by R. Wright and Dave Gorman's book [thanks Vicki!]. Keep your eyes on this blog as I'm not going to be sending group emails about as that's just irritating.
